The right experience, the right commitment, the right time
My principles guide my approach to public service
Government should do fewer things, but do them well. I will focus on core services—roads, public safety, fiscal responsibility—and avoid expanding government into areas best handled by the private sector.
Your tax dollars are not mine to spend freely. Every expenditure should be justified, every project should deliver value, and we should never spend more than we have.
Hardin County's leaders should make decisions for Hardin County. I will resist state and federal overreach that doesn't serve our local needs and priorities.
Government exists to serve citizens, not the other way around. I will work to protect property rights, reduce unnecessary regulation, and keep government out of your way.
Four years ago, I wasn't ready. I had the desire to serve, but I wanted to make sure I had the experience, the knowledge, and the family support to do the job right.
Today, after years of running businesses, serving on the Planning Commission, leading the Heritage Council and Downtown Business Association, I'm ready. I've seen how county government works from the inside. I know where the opportunities are, and I know where the problems are.
Hardin County is growing, and that's good—but growth brings challenges. We need leadership that can manage that growth without losing what makes Hardin County special. I believe I'm that leader.
